3 Things We Know On A Friday – Again, The Big 12 Leads From Behind When It Comes To College Football, Shrimp & Why Major League Baseball Will Get Forced To Shutdown This Weekend… They Just Aren’t As Socially Cool As They NBA – And They’ll Pay!

It’s been a while since we’ve done this. It used to be a staple in the old days. So, why not bring it back tonight?

3 Things We Know On A Friday

  1. Every major conference has announced a plan for how it will handle college football. Heck, the Pac-12 even released a schedule today. The Big 12? Still waiting. This is not shocking or surprising. For whatever reason, or reasons, the Big 12 schools are incapable of taking action. They react. They wait. They hope some other entity, from other conferences to state governors or political bodies will issue orders that they can then “comply” with and execute…all the while claiming whatever happened wasn’t the fault of the Big 12, the school presidents or the athletic directors. They seemingly WANT to be told what to do.. That’s not leadership.
  2. I can eat more shrimp than you can. Boiled, fried, grilled. . . you name it. I’ll never get full. I’ll just get tired. As for oysters or mud-bugs… You can have them.
  3. Prediction. Major League Baseball will announce Sunday evening that they are “pausing” the season from Monday to Thursday. They’ll say they are re-evaluating the Coronavirus protocol, providing extra education to teams and officials and doing a complete overhaul of how they clean locker rooms and handle sanitation. “In an abundance of caution” they will take these steps. Make no mistake. The national sports media will shame MLB with multiple columns and articles over the next 48 hours. MLB can’t be trusted because they’re not in a “bubble” like the socially acceptable NBA. Heck, the MLB teams aren’t even kneeling for the National Anthem right now and aren’t painting the field like a Portland Protester’s cardboard sign. How can the MLB be allowed to play? Answer? They won’t

Hey! If you like what we do in Raiderland, from our columns to our Daily Broadcast videos and radio shows and TV segments…. well, share it with your friends. You can start tonight if you want to. Don’t cost nuthin’.
