5 Things We Know On A Sunday – From West Texas Weather To What Really Caused Coronavirus, Wet Dog To Triumph Plus The Ultimate SNL Skit Comes To Life!

5 Things We Know On A Sunday

  1. Everybody thinks severe weather is fun until it shows up at their door. That’s why I never became a storm chaser. As much as I am fascinated by weather, I saw no need to chase storms. Growing up in West Texas, I didn’t have to go looking for them as a kid. They found me just fine…
  2. I don’t think it’s unreasonable at all to think that the coronavirus shut-down is a result of the Texas Rangers abandoning The Ballpark In Arlington.
  3. Top 3 Smells You Don’t Want In Your Car. 3. Left-over baked fish in a styrofoam container that you forgot about in your backseat and then went on vacation in June for a week… 2. Wet dog. Anytime. 1. Oklahoma.
  4. When it comes to late 70s-early 80s rock bands, Triumph is highly underrated.
  5. Joe Biden is the SNL skit they always wanted to do, but didn’t think anyone would would find enough reality in it to laugh.

  1. 1. I still want to be a storm chaser. I’ve wanted that job since I first heard of it.

    2. It’s unreasonable to NOT think that.

    3. I would add boiled shrimp to that list

    4. Some great things Canada gave us;
    Rush, Triumph, Loverboy, Bob & Doug McKenzie. Not necessarily in that order.

    5. I believe Cousin Eddie said it best…”the gift that keeps on giving, year round.”

  2. A broke man smells just like a wet dog.
    Jerry Coleman.
    I don’t know what that has to do with anything, but it comes to mind every time “wet dog” is mentioned.
    The lamestream media would be having a good time with Joe Biden, if he weren’t a democrat.

  3. #3. From experience, don’t let a kid leave a half drunk milkshake in the backseat of a truck in Wedt Texas over the 3 day July 4 weekend. On the other hand, I had a new truck 6 days later. That smell never comes out.
