Happy Friday, y’all!
It was a late night for Red Raider fans as Texas Tech MBB kept us up to the midnight in their 80-67 first round loss to NC St. We’ll unpack a lot of what the Wolfpack did last night on the Daily Broadcast at 6:30 this evening.
All in all, Texas Tech fans should be very pleased with the job Grant McCasland did in his first year at Tech. Putting together a roster on the fly last Spring/Summer, work through a ton of critical injuries and still get a top four seed in the Big 12 and a good seed in the NCAA Tournament. Not the best match-up, as we obviously saw last night, but the bar was raised this season and that’s always good. I’ll have my letter grade on the season for you tonight.
As for Texas Tech Baseball . . . it’s not time to hit the panic button, but feel free to mill about in a concerned fashion if you want. This teams has more talent, but it’s not jelling right now in the offensive lineup and the pitching has been inconsistent inning to inning. This Friday night game against BYU to even the series is about as big a game as you can have in the Big 12 in March… Again, much to talk about on the Daily Broadcast tonight.
Most Texan Thing
Each Friday you tell us the Most Texan Thing You Did This Week.
Big or small, what made you feel really Texan over the past seven days. My son coming in second in wool judging at Tarleton State this week made me feel really Texan… no pun intended. Also made me so pleased for him and his hard work. Only four more weeks of judging for him in his senior year. Hard to believe.
So, what did you do this week?
