Happy Thursday, Y’all !
In the aftermath of the J. T. Toppin season ending knee injury; the Texas Tech Lady Raiders stepped up and gave Texas Tech fans a lot to cheer about Wednesday night in Lubbock. The Lady Raiders totally 13th ranked Baylor 87-56. It really wasn’t that close.
In the process the 20th ranked Lady Raiders got their largest margin of victory over a ranked team since 2000, swept Baylor for the first time since 2004 and some old guy was doing radio play-by-play and the first win over Baylor in Lubbock since 2011.
That’s a lot of history on a night where Texas Tech continues to prove they belong with the best of the Big 12 and the best in the country right now. It’s great to watch.
We’ll get into that, some Texas Tech MBB thoughts, Baseball ready for Albany and 15 straight at home starting Friday and look at #2 Texas Tech Softball on the road in Palm Springs against Fresno State today at 5:30 Central.

Over, Under, Rated Right
Each Thursday we get to rating things around Raiderland. You never know in this day and age when someone will stop you on the street and ask your opinions on certain things. We’re here to help. You’ve got to have your mind right.
This week we’re looking at… Rock And Roll History.
In honor of the anniversary of AC/DC frontman Bon Scott on this day in 1980, before the album Back In Black could be completed, we want you to rate some AC/DC songs. We’ve got plenty to choose from. Fire away in the comments and we’ll do a deep-dive during the show tonight!
Over: Shook Me All Night Long. Over-played and just not one of my favorite riffs by Angus Young.
Under: Sin City. The song is as mean and dirty as Las Vegas. Honorable Mention: Jailbreak.
Rated Right: Back In Black. It’s a punch to the face right of the bat. Classic.
OK, we could do anther 20 songs in each category. What y’all got today?
