We’ve had a full 24 hours of rain, sleet and snow here in Red River and it’s been awesome. They need the moisture here in the mountains just like we do in West Texas. That said, I didn’t plan on daytime temps in the 30s, so remind me to always take one more jacket than I think I need when I come up here. That’s the West Texan in me coming through!
Back home, we’ve got Texas Tech Baseball hosting New Mexico State Tuesday night. I wish that would never happen. Glad they cancelled the game with New Mexico on Wednesday. Of course this year…you could make the joke that Tech is bad for them to play from an RPI standpoint. We get it. Still, going forward, Texas Tech has to commit more money to baseball to either bring in better non-conference teams in the mid-week or go play quality teams on the road. As long as it is home and home, we’re good with that.
