I might actually do one this year. Haven’t done one in several years. Finally got tired of getting beat by my wife, my son and one of our dogs. And not even the smart dog. . . How are y’all feeling about Texas Tech MBB getting a 6-Seed? I’ll take it. For a bit on Saturday it felt like Tech might make the 5-Line, but too much bracket shuffling late due to upsets moved a lot of pieces around and you hardly ever go up in that situation. Tech need Houston to dump ISU. That would have helped Tech ever so slightly. Then again, maybe not. The match-up with NC State looks favorable. After winning 5 games in 5 days, the Wolfpack is either gonna win it all like 1983 or they’re gassed and just happy to be there. We’ll break the game down more by Thursday, don’t worry.
Speaking of don’t worry, feel free to worry about Texas Tech Baseball right now. After losing a series in Waco to the previously hapless Bears on top of a series loss at home to Texas, the Red Raiders have much Big 12 work to do. In Tim We Trust. That said, there are more concerns right now with both pitching and now hitting to make us take notice. Is the season over? Not hardly. It’s not unusual for a Tadlock team to take a bit of time to round into form in Big 12 play. From line-ups to rotations, Tadlock is not afraid to tinker to get it right when May rolls around. He’s got skins on the wall to prove it. That said, we got a few things to talk about tonight.
