5 Things We Know On A Sunday
- I am reminded each Fall that I love Apple Cider and don’t drink nearly enough of it. It should be a year ’round drink. I proudly endorse Apple Cider to start your day. It’s strange how we relegate certain foods and drink into certain times of the year. They’re really good. We should enjoy year ’round. I’m looking at you, chili.
- Both my Wife and my Mom are huge fans of the TV show “Gilmore Girls”. Pretty sure I can say that I’ve seen nearly every episode of this series that ran for seven years or so in the early 2000s. Pretty sure I can say that the mom and daughter on the show are two of the most neurotic and annoying characters I’ve endured on TV. I hope the “TV Life” worked out for them because they’re some deeply messed-up individuals. I blame their family life.
- Number Two this week gets me wondering what it is that I’ve watched for years that my Wife has had to endure. I’m afraid to ask. I’ll say this, we work very well with just one TV for the most part. It’s a tribute to her patience. I know deep down she really loves NFL Sunday Ticket and horse racing from Del Mar!
- A corn mazes still a thing? It seemed like it exploded years ago when our son was growing up. Now I don’t seem to hear as much about them. Then again, I’m not really the target demo. I’ve always thought that if a cotton crop didn’t make, before it got shredded you could do the same thing and have a maze for really short people… A limited audience, but farmers have to be creative these days.
- When they tell you it’s not about the money, it’s always about the money.
