Be sure and visit their Facebook page and website for tons of great information!

5 Things We Know On A Sunday

  1. I’ll still take a massive dust storm every now and then here in West Texas over, hurricanes, oppressive humidity, year ’round rain and clouds, earthquakes and traffic. Today is one of those days here in West Texas. You find out who wants to live here. But come Monday, the winds will be still and it will be a cool, crisp, late Winter day with blue skies. All those other places . . . rinse and repeat.
  2. Instead of asking me if I “need any stamps or ice today”, when I’m checking out at the grocery store…I wish they’d ask me, “are you sure you need those cookies and the family size bag of M&Ms”? That would be much more helpful.
  3. As the years go by, I come to appreciate Bob Seger and The Silver Bullet Band more and more.
  4. Homemade hamburgers cooked outside on a grill will always be one of the greatest culinary delights. Nothing replicates it. Add in good friends and you can’t equal the experience at any 5 Star Restaurant.
  5. We don’t often delve into personal matters here in this column. This week is different. When you get a call from your wife and she tells you, “It’s not cancer”…you feel like you can conquer anything else in the world, and every little piddly thing you’ve worried about at times in your life just fades away. Fact. Prayer Works. We know. Our prayers for you this week are health and happiness. And maybe a few less dust storms.
