5 Things We Know On A Sunday

1. “It’s A Wonderful Life” is the greatest Christmas movie of all time. Everything else is playing for second place. And by a long ways. Nothing is close.
2. As “challenging” as it may be at times, one day you will wake up and really miss your Elf on the Shelf. You’ll realize the Elf was there as much for you as your kids.
3. As much as I love Christmas music, and I really do, by the time 5 PM rolls around on December 25, I’m ready for some Skynard, Molly Hatchet, Hank Jr. and Waylon Jennings.
4. Every Christmas stocking should contain an orange, a peppermint stick and lots of Hershey miniature chocolate bars. This is science.
5. I don’t remember every Christmas gift I got growing up, but I remember every person who was there each Christmas, family and friends. That’s as good as it gets.
