5 Things We Know On A Sunday

1. January is the month you find out if you can really live in West Texas and love it. Not the spring, but the harsh, cold winds of January with barren fields and a combination of gray and browns. If you can thrive in January in West Texas, you’re a True West Texan.
2. Until proven otherwise, I think every small town in New Mexico should claim that Billy The Kid is buried there.
3. Top Three All-Time Greatest Roller Rink Songs. No. 3 “Funky Town” by Lipps. No. 2. “Pop Muzik” by M. No.1 “I Want To Rock With you” by Michael Jackson. If you were a patron of The Skate Machine in Lubbock, Texas in 1979-81…you know this is true.
4. When I check my groceries out myself at the store, I think there should be an option where I can tip myself.
5. We have to put instructions now on bottles of shampoo. This is why most folks in America shouldn’t be allowed to vote, drive or be able to answer poll questions from any and all media organizations. We have to draw a line somewhere.
