What a weekend!

If you were a Texas Tech fan you had a little bit of everything. Great Texas Tech Baseball comeback on Friday night, brutal loss on Saturday and then another comeback win Sunday to take the series against Baylor.

Meanwhile, Texas Tech Women’s Tennis claimed the Big 12 championship Sunday and Tech Softball swept UH for most wins in Big 12 history for the program at 14.

And as that was going on, Texas Tech great Ludvig Aberg was playing the 17th hold on Sunday at The Masters with a chance to win it. And he went for it with a bold putt. It didn’t work out, but tells you he didn’t show up to finish second. Amazing stuff.

Just like in days off on The Williams & Hyatt Show, we still love to recap the weekend with our Good, Bad and Ugly reviews. It gives you a lot of attitude and makes for great conversation with friends and family. So post your GBUs in the comments and then check back tonight on The Daily Broadcast as we see what everyone else had to say about the weekend.

Here’s a few of ours this week.

Good: Texas Tech women’s tennis takes the Big 12 crown in Lubbock. Tech softball with a program record 14 Big 12 wins after sweeping UH in Lubbock. The Saddle Tramp making a diving stop Sunday at The Law on a foul ball. Maybe most hustle of the weekend out there. Tech pitcher Jack Cebert. Gets the win on Friday and the save on Sunday. He’s become the best pitcher Texas Tech has right now.

Bad: Texas Tech pitching form most of the weekend (season) vs Baylor at one point giving up 23 runs in 11 innings. . .

Ugly: My lawn. It doesn’t deserve to be called a lawn right now. But, there’s time and we will get it right. After the Grub War of ’24, anything is possible. Rye grass be gone! Need some rain as well.
