Happy Thursday Y’all !
Well, we are still here…
After about a foot of snow the last 24 hours we are still hanging out in Red River, New Mexico. And we love it. Not sure when we’ll make it back to West Texas… Might have to set up a second Raiderland Office out here. Thanks to Lifts West for letting us stay until the roads clear up around here. Loving the snow. Gonna make for a great start to the ski season so book your rooms today! Give Billy a call here at Lifts West and tell him we sent you this way!!
Since we thought we’d be on the way home this morning, I hadn’t really thought out much of a column, so you get what you get today!
One thing rattling around our brain this week, sitting here in the snow covered mountains is the idea of a legit rivalry with Colorado. Why not? It might be huge but you’ve got the Plains vs Mountains thing going on. Coloradans hate Texans when we go skiing there. Texans need Colorado to still purchase certain things when they travel. Maybe there is something there..
What do y’all think? Could Texas Tech and Colorado turn into a short-term, we all need each other for now, kinda rivalry?
Texas Tech MBB
I am intrigued by the first game of Texas Tech MBB this year. They need to get a lot of guys healthy and fast. That said, the J T Toppin debut was eye-catching. The three-point shooting is either great or Fool’s Gold. I am not a fan of teams shooting more than about 15 or so a night unless you can convert at a high rate. Seems after that you create long run-outs for the the other team and it’s not worth it… We shall see…
