Not so happy if you’re a Texas Tech MBB fan….
Folks will forget the score, 72-67, but they’ll remember the images of Texas Tech All-American candidate J. T. Toppin on the floor at Arizona State holding his knee for a long time . . .
The loss of the game isn’t that big a deal in the scheme of things for this team. The loss of Toppin, for however long, could be everything to this team and this season. We’ll wait and find out what the verdict is fairly soon I’d imagine. So until we know, we don’t.
As for Red Raider Baseball, they survived a horrific 8 run first inning at UTRGV to get a 21-12 win. A win is a win and that’s what they needed.
