Happy Friday, y’all!
I almost have a list. That’s how close we are to Christmas shopping. Not bad. We should have it wrapped up by late Sunday no problem! Hope your shopping is going as smoothly.
Texas Tech Basketball won one of the toughest games you play all year Thursday, 77-66 against UTA in Lubbock. It’s always a nightmare that last game before the break. Players are ready to get home and just want to get the game over with. That’s pretty much what they did. They used a good 7 minute stretch of basketball to stand up for the win. The rest of the time, too many turnovers and too many three point shooters left unattended. For McCasland you get the win and plenty of stuff to gripe about. Coaches love that. This team is still ahead of the last few years when it comes to RPI and where they would be if the NCAA Tournament started today. Right now they’d be first four out or maybe even last four in. That’s a lot better than where they were last few years with Big 12 play to still fatten the resume
Most Texan Thing
Great week to be a Texan. Always get to show off a little during the holidays. So, tell us The Most Texan Thing You’ve Done This Week. Still time to do something and report back. For me, it was having to drive home one afternoon at 45MPH top speed since I hadn’t got all the mud out of my hubs. It happens. Beauty of the rain.
