5 Things We Know On A Sunday

  1. I’m at the age where when someone says, “at your age”, I’m a little worried what they’re gonna say next . . .
  2. I heard a brand new Christmas song the other day I really liked. Oh wait. No. I didn’t.
  3. Top 3 Actors As Santa Claus All-Time: No. 3. Ed Asner in “Elf”. Nails the role. No. 2. Edmund Gwenn in the original “Miracle on 34th Street”. That’s who I thought Santa really might be when I was a little kid. No. 1. Grand Santa in “Arthur Christmas”. I’m cheating here. It’s a computer/animated movie. So not really an actor, but Grand Santa is my favorite movie Santa these days. If you haven’t seen the movie you need to! Not just for kids at all!
  4. The Brittany in Lubbock still holds the title of “Greatest Onion Rings All-Time” in Lubbock. I’m willing to consider others now. Had some really good ones the other day at Blue Sky. If y’all have any suggestions for great onion rings or just have your favorite list ready to go, let us know!
  5. Say a quick pray for any and all wonderful parents out there who have plum run out of fun and creative ideas for their Elf on the Shelf. Aside from assembling a bike on Christmas Eve after a few cocktails, there may be no greater pressure out there this week. . .
