5 Things We Know On A Sunday

1. The Texas Country Music scene leaves me cold these days. We had an intense discussion last night with friends, and my 20-year old son about the latest crop of bands and singers. I have come to the conclusion that it must be me. . . I aged out of the music or it changed. Either way, I’ll stick with Jason Boland and my old R.E.K. era. Anyone else experiencing the same thing with music? Let us know in the comments!
2. Wonder how many World Cup fans will get to America, learn how awesome this country actually is and never want to go home…love seeing these stories about how the international travelers are blown away by everything from Waffle House to Bass Pro Shops. Welcome to America!
3. Sometime in the future, folks will wax poetically about On The Border and how they can’t believe it’s gone and wish it could come back to Lubbock. These are the same folks who quit eating there over the years causing the chain to shutter the doors nationally this week…
4. We’re all caught up on Dutton Ranch now here at the house. Personal Taylor Sheridan Show Power Rankings have Dutton Ranch currently sitting third behind 1883 at number one and The Madison at number two. Depending on next season of The Madison it could go to number one. Stay tuned.
5. How is it possible that I am always “nearly out” of wiper fluid in my truck? Always.
