We made it! And this week, that was no easy feat!
Last night on The Daily Broadcast we gave you our initial thoughts on the Big 12 shopping the naming rights to the conference as well as partnering up with a private equity firm. Are they good ideas? Bad? Will they help the league. The answer on the naming rights is simple. Yes. It will help and it don’t cost nuthin’. You don’t get much right now at 2-3 million a year but it’s something and you gotta have a name anyways.
The PE firm is a whole other animal and one I’m not so sure the Big 12 should jump in on right now. There’s a reason NFL teams are forbidden by the league to have agreements like that. We will discuss even more tonight on the Friday TDB LIVE at 6:30 on Twitter, Facebook and Youtube.
