If you don’t think Texas Tech Board of Regents Chairman isn’t the Most Dangerous Man in College Sports today; just look around at how many of the sacred cows are running scared of him and trying to discredit his “understanding of the fundamentals of college athletics”. Yes. Campbell is too stupid to understand college sports…Like all Disruptors, Campbell is facing the slings and arrows of those clinging to power. 2. While it would have been cool this season with it being a 100 years of Texas Tech Football, next season the Red Raiders should wear an EXACT REPLICA throwback uniform for every home game. Start the next 100 years with an homage to the past. Move forward in reverse. First home game go with a 1980s replica. Next week, 1970s. You should be able to get all the way back to Elmer Tarbox and the 1938 Red Raiders. On the road, you ca go with your modern look. Each week can be themed for fans as well to dress in their best decade era garb. I can’t believe we give away ideas like this for free!
3. Let’s be honest. The Big 12 is gonna be less interesting with Mike Gundy. At least he got to make the phone commercial before he got fired. TNT or Fox should hire Gundy right now and put together an Alt. Broadcast for Big 12 games. Give him a case of beer, sit him on a porch or a dock somewhere, let him invite his friends over and turn him loose. I’d watch and so would you.
