For the first time since 2005 Texas Tech fans get to root for both the Tech MBB and the Lady Raiders in the NCAA Tournament. Hard to believe it’s been that long, but it’s over now.
The men got a fair seed as a 5 against 12-seed Akron. The Zips will be a popular upset pick and that’s a mistake. The Lady Raiders and the Big 12 both got show little respect with the Lady Raiders getting a 7-seed as a 25 win team taking on Villanova down in Baton Rouge.
We’ll have more on both games tonight as well as a look at a series win for Texas Tech Baseball and Softball in Big 12 play.
