Not that any of y’all would ever forget!
Meanwhile, in Kansas City, every thing was going great for the Texas Tech Lady Raiders against K-State until it wasn’t. After building a comfortable double-digit lead early in the 4th quarter….things went awry. Actually things just stopped. At least for the Lady Raiders on offense.
With about eight minutes to go, K-State would hold Tech scoreless the rest of the way and close out the game on a 21-0 run. I’ve never seen a game end like that. At least not that I can recall. For now, it probably doesn’t change their NCAA Tournament trajectory all that much. Tech was at best a 5-seed and might fall to six now. We’ll see.
