Happy Thursday, Y’all !
We’ve got football.
For the next few days we’ve got great NFL and CFB Playoff action plus some Texas Tech Basketball thrown in as well. We hear there are even things called “bowl games” that are still getting played. We’ll look into that.
Otherwise, for the next few weeks we’ve got great holiday sports action and we are here for it. You get to scout Texas Tech’s Orange Bowl opponent just like the coaches this weekend when JMU and Oregon tee-it up. Meaningful NFL games unless you’re a Chiefs or Cowboys fan. Hopefully everyone is in their fantasy football playoffs this week as well. Good luck if you’re still playing. We need a big night from Stafford and Nakua tonight if it doesn’t bother anyone.
Did we mention holidays? Now we really can start to eat with reckless abandon. We intend to do it. Bought the first one of these the other day and tonight’s the night to break it out.

By the way, they still look to be about 3/4 of the size they were a few years ago. The Shrinkflation thing is still real. Which means I should have bought two.
What are y’all looking forward to the most over these next few days? We’ll talk about that and much more tonight on The Daily Broadcast. Join us LIVE at 6:30 Central via X, YouTube and Facebook. All of our platforms are always free so subscribe to each one and never miss a thing in Raiderland!
If somehow you missed a fun What If Wednesday show, no worries. We got ya covered. We archive everything right here for you:
Go have a Thursday, get your mind right then get your questions and comments ready to go and we’ll see y’all tonight on The Daily Broadcast.

Over, Under, Rated Right Thursday
On Thursdays, we get to rating things in Raiderland. You never know when you might get asked your opinion on a certain subject and you need to be ready. We’re here to help each week. We give you the topic or category and you fire away in the comments with your rating.
This week, it’s time to bust out the old VHS or DVD movies. We’re going Christmas.
Give us your most underrated, overrated Christmas movies plus the ones that are rated just right. Of course this begs the question, what is a Christmas movie? You tell us in the comments. We’ll get it started for you.

Underrated: The Family Man. A bit of a spin-off from It’s A Wonderful Life ( which is the Greatest Christmas Movie of all-time! ) this gem came out about 25 years ago and has stood the test of time. Great watch and Nick Cage and Tea Leoni are at their best. Must watch each year.
Overrated: A Christmas Story. There. I said it. Someone has to. It gave us the Leg Lamp but beyond that, a bit of a beatdown. Never got the love for the movie.
Rated Right: Elf. It’s really funny, got a good message, high-quality Santa Claus in Ed Asner. It has been played a little too much though over the years and has a high burn factor.
OK, we’ve left a ton of Christmas movies out there for you to sound off one, so get to it. Fire away in the comments below and we will engage in vigorous debate tonight on The Daily Broadcast.
