Memorial Day Greetings to y’all !

We hope each of y’all get to spend great time today with family and friends, all while taking more than a few moments to reflect upon the sacrifices so many made to allow The United States to remain a free country. We thank them all today and know we must repay that debt we owe by being vigilant and not squandering what they did for us!

In the kiddie department of life, aka sports, it’s one of the busiest times of the year. Texas Tech Softball will go off chasing hitting later this week in OKC at the College World Series. They’ll take on Ole Miss Thursday night at 6. The Rebels got out of the Arkansas Super Regional Sunday night in a rough 3-game series. Texas Tech has been resting since Friday afternoon. Advantage Texas Tech….

Meanwhile, Texas Tech Baseball beings and off-season of changes, stared off Saturday when they announced long-time pitching coach Matt Gardner was leaving the program. No shock. But the problem for Texas Tech Baseball go well beyond pitching and HC Tim Tadlock knows it. It will take a myriad of internal and external changes to get Red Raider Baseball back to the level where they can compete each year to go to a Super Regional, let alone trips to Omaha.
