After Sunday’s losses by the Texas Tech Lady Raiders 101-47 to Duke and then the Texas Tech Red Raiders getting throttled by Alabama 90-65, both in the NCAA Tournament 2nd Round; a lot of Tech fans we’re left wondering what to say. Sometimes there just isn’t much to say. The games speak for themselves to an extent, both happening for different reasons. Either way it’s now Softball and Baseball time in Raiderland.
Hopefully Texas Tech fans will be able to see all of the really good things both teams accomplished this season. The Lady Raiders changed the perception of a program and brought Texas Tech back to relevance. The Tech Men took down Duke, Arizona, Houston and ISU. They showed again Grant McCasland can coach and put together a high-level roster. All of that matters going forward as both teams have a major remake coming up.
We’ll discuss all of that , the NCAA Tournament as a whole and whether you’re enjoy the games (blow-outs) plus a ton of Texas Tech Baseball and Softball. Oh ya, it’s also time for MLB to get cranking and we’ve got this NFL Draft coming up soon. It never slows down and we love it.

Good, Bad & Ugly
Each Monday we recap the weekend that was with the Good, Bad & Ugly. Some things were great, some not so great, some so bad you had to look away. We’ll give you ours, you post yours in the comments and then we’ll discuss tonight on The Daily Broadcast at 5:30 Central.
G: Texas Tech Baseball and Softball. Baseball wins the series at Arizona. Softball sweeps at #24 UCF. Baseball continues to climb the D1 Baseball RPI, but has much work to do, even with two Big 12 series wins to start the year. Softball is a machine.
B: Lack of competitive games in the NCAA Tournament on both the men’s and women’s side. We have thoughts.
U: The second and third quarters for the Lady Raiders against LSU and everything after the 7-minute mark in the first half for the Tech Men vs Alabama. No other work to describe it. Ugly.
