Happy Friday Y’all!

We’ve got a lot going on this weekend from Texas Tech Baseball hosting WVU to the Tech Football Spring Game in Midland… wait… being told they don’t want to worry about the weather so cancel that Spring Game and it’ll be a closed work-out at the Corky Dome instead. Some where, Joey McGuire is thanking the weather for getting him out of having to do a Spring Game. A relic from football days past.

Meanwhile, Tech Baseball has another great opportunity to build their resume against West Virginia at The Law starting Friday night. WVU a couple of games up in the Big 12 standings while Texas Tech checks in today at 34 on the D1 Baseball RPI. WVU just ahead at 27, so any wins will help your SOS and of course the all-important RPI.

Texas Tech has been a much better offensive team at home as we’ve well chronicled this season. With cool temps and wet weather forecasted the park may play “big” this weekend without the usual April Jet-Stream to LF. Factor that into the equation and I fully expect close games if not high-scoring.

Tech doesn’t have to sweep by any means, just get a solid series win and get ready to go to Kansas.

We’ll discuss all of that and more on The Daily Broadcast tonight before Tech and WVU get cranking. Join us LIVE on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook.
