We get to play baseball.
For better or for worse, it’s Texas Tech vs Texas at the Big 12 Tournament tonight. Maybe the last time Tech plays Texas in any sports for a long time. We’ll preview the game tonight at 6:30 on The Daily Broadcast. Join the show LIVE on Twitter, YouTube and Facebook Live.
Tonight we will also look at the impending death of High School sports like basketball and baseball. Texas Tech has 3 MBB commits, none went to a traditional HS the way we think of it. All went to Academies or Prep Schools designed for sports. We’re seeing this in baseball as well.
And you thought NIL and the Transfer Portal was the only thing out there turning sports you love upside down. . .
