- The most opinionated person in the room is often the least informed. The loudest is often the shallowest of thinker. Pay attention to the soft-spoken, quiet one. They most likely have the best grasp on things.
- I really miss Pat Summerall and John Madden this time of year. For the most part, nearly all the announcers today are bland and boring. I think one of the best things about those two was how much fun they had. Neither really needed the job, so they could just have fun each week. Announcers need to remember, this is supposed to be fun!
