2. NFL Sunday’s are back and that means lots of great cooking and eats. Pro-Tip for your next batch of queso. When it”s ready to be served, put a bunch of fresh Pico de Gallo on top of the whole thing. You’ll thank me later.
3. Top Thee All-Time Greatest Songs About Cars: No. 3. “I’m In Love With My Car”. Queen. No. 2. “I Can’t Drive 55”. Sammy Hagar. No. 1. “Red Barchetta”. Rush.
4. The most opinionated person in the room is often the least informed. The loudest is often the shallowest of thinker. Pay attention to the soft-spoken, quiet one. They most likely have the best grasp on things.
5. I really miss Pat Summerall and John Madden this time of year. For the most part, nearly all the announcers today are bland and boring. I think one of the best things about those two was how much fun they had. Neither really needed the job, so they could just have fun each week. Announcers need to remember, this is supposed to be fun!
