5 Things We Know On A Sunday: Midnight Swears, Biscuit Truth, Football Wisdom, License To Drive, Own Your Own World

Brought to you each Sunday by our friends at Shropshire Insurance of Texas. Independent, just like you. Shropshire is based in Lubbock but big enough for the whole Great State of Texas. If you’ve never worked with an Independent Agent, give Jeff and his staff a holler this week. Tell him thanks for supporting what we do here in Raiderland!

5 Things We Know On A Sunday

  1. Fact. There is no moment when you desire to swear as loudly and profanely at the top of your lungs as when you step on something or stub your toe in the middle of the night, in a completely silent house.
  2. Biscuits taste better in the morning and rolls taste better at lunch or supper. They’re basically the same thing. No one know why, but it’s true.
  3. We don’t normally write about sports in this space. Today we have to make an exception. If I hear a grown-man refer to a Touchdown as a “Tuddy”, I immediately know I’m listening to someone I need not pay attention to when it comes to their views or analysis on football. It’s a Touchdown or a TD. Thanks.
  4. It’s far too easy to get a driver’s license these days. For so many reasons, this needs to change. When I am declared Governor of The Great of Texas, I’ll make this happen.
  5. If you didn’t have The Media to tell you how bad things are or how great things are, how would you thing things are going in your life? With no outside input, how is your world. Cogitate on that for a bit this morning and I think you’ll find your world is pretty good when you take it all in. Own your own world.
