Happy Monday, Y’all !
It’s getting late in October, Texas Tech Football has moved into the Top 5, the air is crisp in the mornings in West Texas and life is good!
Great way to start another week as the Red Raiders were part of a big Big 12 weekend that saw BYU take down Notre Dame and Utah keep winning to put three Big 12 teams in the Top 10 in the polls. Of course none of this is supposed to happen according to some of the CFB Elites. No way BYU could win. They had to cheat! Texas Tech has played NOBODY! How can they be ranked ahead of one and two loss SEC “powers”. Utah? We haven’t seen them play they play so late out there… All the whining around CFB Sunday was a joy to see.
Now it’s time for the Big 12 teams to deliver from here. BYU and Utah need to keep winning until they face each other on November 7. Texas Tech needs to look dominant in their remaining six games, and they should. The Big 12 has a legitimate chance to get not one, but three teams in the CFB Playoffs if things break right. Long way to go, but the path is there now.

- Kenny Johnson, WR Texas Tech. Not to be out-done, Johnson was targeted 8 times and caught 7 of them for 126 yards!
- The KC Chiefs. Still undefeated. Kenneth Walker III is the best off-season move in the NFL so far this season.
