Happy Tuesday, Y’all !
Monday we mentioned we were looking forward to settling into a little summer routine. I should have been more specific. I didn’t mean a routine of 100 degree days. My bad! I’ll do better in the future. It looks like things will cool back down to the lower 90s as the week goes along so that will work.
I don’t know about y’all, but without Texas Tech in the NCAA Baseball Tournament, it’s freed me up to just watch and enjoy the games regardless of outcomes. Rooting for K-State, not just because they’re a Big 12 team, but because they help destroy the trope that NIL will only help the Big Boys. Just take a look at some of the baseball powers that are out and who is playing in Super Regionals this weekend. One more reason to love baseball.
Also, this little stretch here in June and July is when I really miss the Lubbock Crickets.
And then I get over it.
