It’s Big 12 Tournament time for Texas Tech MBB, and this time…it matters.
The Madness of March is upon us and it’s gonna be a fun and interesting ride for Texas Tech fans. The Lady Raiders know they’re in the NCAA Tournament, just a matter now of whether they are a 5 or 6 seed. As for the Texas Tech MBB, after the second-half gack at BYU late Saturday night, things have changed when it comes to the Big 12 Tournament.
This time it matters for Texas Tech.
The Red Raiders have to prove they are still worthy of a four-seed at the point. I think the 3-seed is out the window now. To hold on to the four-seed they’ll need to win Thursday morning against ISU/ASU/BU… Not an impossible task as we’ve seen Tech take down ISU recently… but, still have to get it done. In fact, this may be the most meaningful Big 12 men’s tournament in a while as several teams are trying to separate themselves from other Big 12 teams. Makes for great TV. Too bad the court’s so ugly…
We’ll talk about all that tonight as well as a surging Texas Tech Baseball team and a softball team living up to huge expectations so far this season. Add in some Texas Tech Spring Football and we’ve got a lot going on for a Monday.
