Happy Pro Day at Texas Tech for all those who observe! Just as big as MLB Opening Day around these parts!!!
With several high first-round picks on display today, including edge rusher David Bailey and LB Jacob Rodriguez out at The Jones, there should be a ton of NFL scouts, GMs and maybe a head coach or two on hand. Personally, I think DE Romello Height may end up being the steal of the top part of the draft for some team. If Bailey didn’t exist, and we are glad he does, Height would be the talk of the town. Of course the NFL Draft is the most inexact science in all of sports…so we’ll all find out in real-time won’t we?
We’ll discuss that, Texas Tech Baseball and Softball, MLB Opening Day and the resumption of the Chalk Fest known as the NCAA Tournament and Sweet 16 action tonight. Add in the Over, Under, Rated Right talk and it’s gonna be a fun show.

Over, Under, Rated Right
On Thursday’s, we get to rating things around Raiderland. You never know when someone is gonna ask your thoughts on a certain subject and you must be prepared. We’re here to help. Sometimes it’s sports related, sometimes it’s not. This week we’ll stay on our MLB theme.
How do you rate Major League Baseball uniforms?
Which one’s a great, not-so great and some are hideous. Fire away in the comments and we’ll discuss on the show tonight. Baseball as much as any sport, creates great uniform debates. Here’s a few of our thoughts.
Overrated: Anything related to a “City Connect” uniform. They’re garbage. All of them.
Underrated: The Texas Rangers 1970s powered blue throwbacks. They’re the pinnacle of the robin’s egg blue era of MLB. Texas wears them as close to how they looked as possible. Well done.
Rated Right: The L.A. Dodgers and N.Y. Yankees. Both are simple classics that have stood the test of time. Please don’t mess with them.
