Happy Monday, Y’all !

It’s only Wednesday…

Feels like we’ve already had a lot of week with MNF, MLB and then Texas Tech dominating social media Tuesday with the announcement that the Real Double T is coming back. Like we said on The Daily Broadcast last night, this wasn’t an overnight decision; Tech had been waiting for the right time. Can’t beat Homecoming Week when you’re undefeated in the Top Ten…almost scripted.

We’ll discuss some of that and take a look around the Big 12 tonight on The Daily Broadcast. Also a deeper dive into Kansas. If you missed the show last night we talked about limiting Jason Daniels. Best test Texas Tech will have faced by an offensive weapon this season. Maybe all season depending on how you rank QBs and players around the Big 12. If you want to revisit the show, here ya go:

What IF Wednesday

We love Alt. History in Raiderland. It helps to understand actual history when you look at how things could have changed on a coin flip of actions. Or non-actions. Usually we go back a few years but today we go back a few months with Texas Tech Football.

What IF: RB Quinten Joyner did not get injured in August.

How different would this offense look with him out there? He was brought in for a huge reason from UCS. This coaching staff loved his run-pass catch style. Would Texas Tech have had any Red Zone issues with him out there? Would Williams be returning kicks? How much more fire-power do you think Texas Tech would have if Joyner didn’t get hurt? Not bad for a Top Ten team and perhaps your best RB isn’t even out there.

Fire away in the comments and we’ll discuss in-depth with y’all tonight on The Daily Broadcast.

  1. What if Wednesday.

It’s a throwback answer going back to one of the original WIW subjects – Wes Welker

And like we like to say around here, Wes Welker is never the wrong answer. Why am I referencing Welker? Because you couldn’t keep him off the field – that’s what you do with elite players and playmakers – you find ways to get the ball in their hands
