And so it begins.

First it’s local Media Day for Texas Tech football today and then on Wednesday let the workouts begin. I don’t think we’ve ever needed actual football stuff more than this August. After a Summer of simmering stories from Sorsby to Yormark to judges and congress, let the games begin!

All things considered, it was fairly quiet on Monday around all of those backdrop issues. We do expect some news Wednesday on the Darrion Williams/Donovan Atwell eligibility/transfer case out in North Carolina. The Senate may or may not vote this week on the Protect College Sports Act. It’s the Senate. Who knows. . .

If anything interesting happens at Media Days we will let y’all know today.
