Happy Monday, Y’all !
Hope everyone had a great Open Date weekend and got a few things done. For the record, our front porch is now clean and picked-up and ready for Fall. It’s crazy. Folks sneak up in the middle of the night and randomly leave things on our porch…been happening for years out there in the country. On to the side porch next week when things cool down a little bit!
As y’all know, we’ve been fighting the Great Grubb War of ’24 around here since August. We’ve made progress. Now… what kind of great tips do y’all have going into the Fall and then Winter? For you lawn car gurus, what do you do to make sure things are as good as they can be during October, November and then the chill of December? I’m open to any and all ideas right now.
For our Dallas Cowboys fans out there… I feel for you. You’re trapped. It’s the same movie all the time. They’ll fire Mike McCarthy. It won’t matter. You know it, I know it and the American people know it.
So what do you do as a Cowboys fan? I’ve said it before, but Dallas Cowboys fans are the Great Enablers in sports. They buy the gear no matter what. They buy the tickets and pay for parking and buy the 20 dollar Miller Lites no matter what. They watch, driving ratings and making Jerry Jones the Ten Billion Dollar Man no matter what.
Until that changes, nothing will change.
And nearly 30 years of history tells me nothing is gonna change.
Tell me I’m wrong.
