Happy Tuesday, Y’all !
No Texas Tech Baseball today with the expected winds around 40 with gusts to 60 or so around Lubbock. I know a lot of former players that would have loved to have NOT had to play on some days like this. That said, no problem for me if Tech decides not to make up the game with New Mexico from an RPI standpoint. For now they’ve got a make-up date for early may. We’ll see.
Speaking of the RPI, Texas Tech checks in at 68 in the first D1 Baseball rating of the season. All things considered, that’s a very workable number. Texas Tech could move inside the NCAA bubble line by early April with consistent wins. The problem is the Big 12. Overall a very down league this season. Hence, the reason why Tim Tadlock scheduled the way he did. Just needed a few more wins to really make it pay off.
We’ll have that plus Texas Tech MBB and much more tonight on The Daily Broadcast. Join us LIVE tonight at 6:30 Central on X, YouTube and Facebook. If you missed the show Monday, no worries. Here’s the replay!
Tuesday’s Best

This week, in honor of the great upsets we associate with the NCAA Tournament, let’s go celebrate the cinderella stories, the underdogs, the upsets in sports history. Give us your two favorite examples! It could be teams or individual players. I’ve got several we’ll talk about on the show tonight. And yes, Bart Starr is one of them. Post in the comments and join the show later.
