  1. I grew up loving Bart Starr and, later, Roger Staubach. But, I have to go with Dirk, on this one. I could go on longevity, alone. But, Dirk… by the numbers…(if you can compare football numbers to basketball numbers,)… put up a better overall career, though one less championship.

    Just my two and a half cents. (Yeah, two and a half. I’m feeling generous, today.)
