The US Open is underway and former Red Raider Ludvig Aberg begins his quest for his first Major championship. He’s not been bad lately, not not going really low. The good news is that at the US Open you don’t have to go really low, just play some quality golf and be around at the end. So far so good, as we get ready to post, with Aberg being one of the first on the course this morning, he’s sitting at -1 through 11 good for T7 .
This is the time of year when we turn our focus to the former Red Raiders in golf, baseball, you name it. Which Tech players are trending well at NFL mini-camps and more. Each day now you can usually find an update on a former Tech athlete doing something good.
That didn’t use to be the case in the long-hot summers. Speaks to the total athletics program Tech has become.

On Thursdays we get to rating things around Raiderland!
This week we are taking on Lubbock and West Texas Mexican Food Restaurants….
This one is gonna be tough because when we say Overrated, it could still be a great place to eat, just maybe not always matching the hype. So, we look forward to your thoughts in the comments. Give us your favorite under-the-radar spots and maybe what we should order. Give us the places that are rated just right and like we said, some don’t live up to the hype.
