It was worth the wait.
Texas Tech MBB kept us up late Thursday night, but it was worth it as the Red Raiders moved past UNCW 82-72. Tech set an NCAA record with 48 3-pt attempts, and it felt like it. Tech controlled from tip to finish and did what you want a 3-seed to do…look like the better team. Chance McMillan didn’t play again and we don’t expect him to play until next week, if Texas Tech advances past Drake. No worries though because Kerwin Walton decided to have a career night and throw in 27 points. And that’s how you do it.

Beyond Tech MBB, you’ve got the Lady Raiders extending their season with a win last night at Wyoming so it’s off to Virginia Tech and Tech Baseball has a large early-Big 12 season series at home vs TCU.
