Brought to you in part by McAlpin Chiropractic. If you went too hard this weekend on yard work or cheering on Texas Tech Softball… you might need to call our friend Kevin McAlpin. When you do, tell him we sent you. You’ll get to feeling right fast. Check out his great site and see all he offers West Texans! A great Red Raider who has worked on high-level athletes for decades!

Happy Monday, Y’all !

How about that for a weekend!

Texas Tech Baseball qualified for the Big 12 Tournament Friday before the sun set in West Texas.

The Texas Tech Softball team made comeback history Saturday and then smoked Ole Miss Sunday to head to Florida for the Super Regionals and a little bit after that Ludvig Aberg finished 4th at the PGA Championship and earned a cool $843,866.67 cents. All while Texas Tech Track swept the Big 12 Outdoor Championships. Again. . .

And we got all of our laundry done for the week.

Not bad.

Obviously we’ll have plenty to talk about tonight on The Daily Broadcast. Get ready to join us LIVE this evening at 5:30 Central via X, the Raiderland YouTube Channel (pushing for 800 subscribers this month) and the ever-growing Raiderland Facebook Page. Spicy Mustard Monday????

We’re kicking around a new Monday feature that goes back a few years ago to a listener created phenomenon wrapped around Spicy Mustard. Friend of the show Lance King coined the term “Spicy Mustard” and we’d often use it to refer to something great. Who doesn’t love spicy mustard?

So, we’re thinking about creating Spicy Mustard Monday where you tell us who was as hot and bold as Spicy Mustard over the weekend. We’ll break it out on the show tonight and if y’all seem to like it we’ll keep it around. If not, it will quietly disappear. Things like that happen.

Who would get your first nomination for Spicy Mustard Monday?

After her 5 RBI Sunday following the massive 7th inning blast Saturday, Texas Tech’s Jackie Lis might be a great choice. . . You let us know in the comments here and on X and Facebook what y’all think.
