Is everyone ready for the Winter Weather in West Texas??!!
That’s going to be the big story around here for the next few days. I hope everyone was respectful to their fellow West Texans when you engaged in panic-buying at the store. We did pretty good getting most of what we need back on Wednesday. Today it will be just another round of Diet Cokes and whatnot. Never under-estimate the power of having lots of Whatnot around the house when it snows!
The biggest impact so far has been Texas Tech moving the Houston game up to 1PM Saturday. Hopefully the snow will hold off until afternoon but hard to say at this point. Really hate that the weather may impact both the crowd at ESPN Game Day and the game itself, but that’s the way it goes sometimes. I have a feeling the students will show up. In fact, Tech might just want to let anyone and everyone in who can make it out to the game, tickets or not. Bill it as Free Heat Day…
We’ll breakdown this Big 12 rematch tonight on The Daily Broadcast with y’all as well as look at the Lady Raiders trying to snap a two-game skid at Utah and dive into the NFL conference championship games. If we do have weather, that could make for a fun day of sitting in the house Sunday and enjoying what should be two solid match-ups.
