Happy Wednesday, Y’all !
We’ve made it to mid-week, we’ve got some rain around parched West Texas, MLB Playoffs are underway, the NHL is back with regular season games, NFL and College Football are rocking… this is the beginning of one of the great months in all of sports. Tons of stuff, nearly every single day and night. We love it. More day baseball please. Surely there is a conference we can talk into playing college football at 2. PM Central during the week? Makes the day go better!
As for around here, it’s another week of how much should Texas Tech win by. Get used to it. The Under The Radar Raiders start their run through the rest of Big 12 play expected to win easily, and get virtually no credit for it national. The only way Texas Tech moves up from here in the hated rankings is for attrition to start taking down other teams in front of Texas Tech. Take note of how many one-loss teams they keep in front of Texas Tech in the coming weeks. Of course this is all predicated on the fact that Texas Tech can’t stumble and lose a game. Any game in the regular season will make it nearly impossible to get a path to the CFB Playoffs. It will be mighty difficult because of potential tie-breaks for Tech to lose a game and make the Big 12 Championship Game (which needs to go away). And so it begins.
