We’re keeping an eye on Texas Tech Athletics this morning as they’ve teased a “Big Announcement”. Not sure what it is, but would love it to be the return of the Real Double T on a full-time basis across all sports. Hey, we can dream.

Other than that we’re trying to figure out if Kansas City will be able to beat a team with a pulse this year. Patrick Mahomes and the defense covered up a lot of flaws last year, winning a ton of last-second, one-score games. The cracks are showing though this season and the league devours the weak. Can they finish top two in the AFC West? Don’t know. Play-offs right now seem like a non-starter for discussion purposes. Maybe Rashee Rice alters things a lot. We’ll see on the 19th. Otherwise, the “long-time” KC Fans around Raiderland may have a rough season. Life in the NFL.
