Happy Tuesday, Y’all !

Actually, today there is no joy in Mudville, or Wrigleyville or in West Texas for many baseball fans.

We lost Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg to cancer Monday and this one stings. Probably my last sports hero growing up. You reach a certain, somewhere around 15 or 16 and you love certain players, but the hero status seems to fade into something more akin to respect. Certainly it plays out that way as you get into your 30s and beyond. But for me, Sandberg was my last hero.

The summer of 1984 was magical and well documented. Harry Caray and Steve Stone were the announcers of our summer drama as the Cubs got hot and won the NL East. Every day was great and every day Sandberg was seeming doing something amazing. . .

Rest Well Ryno and thank you for the memories.

We’ll talk about that, and much more included Texas Tech Football, Big 12 news, Texas Rangers surging and Dallas Cowboys training camp action tonight with y’all at 6:30 Central, LIVE on Twitter/X, Youtube and Facebook. Subscribe to all three platforms, always FREE and never miss a thing!

Tuesday’s Best

Each Tuesday we give you a topic and you give us your two best examples. Might be sports-related, might not be. You just never know. . .

This week we’re looking at breakfast. Give us your Two Favorite Breakfast Foods/Meals.

What do you love to eat for breakfast and where is the best place to get it? Or do you cook for yourself. If you say Peanut Butter C’pn Crunch as one of your two examples… you might not be wrong. So, what’s for breakfast?!

Raiderland Hot Links

Each morning we serve ’em up, Fresh and Hot! The best links from Raiderland and Beyond!
