Happy Wednesday, Y’all!

Sorry we’re a little late today but breakfast happened at Yesterdays Dinner again here in Red River. Pancakes were calling. Their version of the “short stack” was a little more than I could take down, but they were just what we needed here in the mountains!

Just a short walk from Lifts West, and I needed the walk!

Hopefully everyone enjoyed Texas Tech’s easy 13-6 win over NMSU last night. It won’t move the needle on RPI or an at-large bid, but you get a chance to see which guys you can count on perhaps when Tech tries to win four games at the Big 12 Tournament. The pitching will have to cobble it together, and Tech will have to put up a lot of runs, so each game is an audition right now for who gets called on. Hopefully Connor Mohan got a little confidence back and it looked like the firm of Bevis, Erdman and Drake out of the bullpen did what needed to be done. Add in the emergence of Peyton Schulze at the plate and we keep seeing signs of progress. Is it too late? We’ll find out.

We’ll discuss that and much more tonight LIVE at 6:30 Central on The Daily Broadcast. We’ll look at the Dallas Cowboys trade with Pittsburgh for WR George Pickens. It didn’t alter the perception of either team in the futures market this morning, so factor that in. Bigger question in Dallas is whether Dan Prescott can stay healthy enough to throw to him. . .
