Pro-Tip for those wondering. If you want to shop undisturbed, do it during an eclipse. I was out and about early Saturday knocking out some things and was at the grocery store, hello United Supermarkets, and it just so happened to be during the eclipse. I’d lost track of time and was pleasantly surprised at how light the traffic was inside the store. Figured out why after I was done. More folks in the parking lot than inside. Hope they didn’t burn their eyeballs out. Either way, I missed the eclipse while I was shopping. I did notice it was kinda dark when I got to the store. The parking lot lights were on. Should have tipped me off. So, go shopping next eclipse. It really saves time.
Helmet Stickers
It’s your turn to hand out some awards. Who gets your Raiderland Helmet Sticker for being awesome this past week? Sports or non-sports. My wife gets one for making cheesy hasqhbrown potato soup with smoked sausage this weekend as well as a chicken gnocchi soup that was out of site. I’m living well, boys!
As for sports-related stickers, Tahj Brooks gets one for averaging nearly six yards a carry again and somehow Texas Tech decided not to run him when they needed it most Saturday. Hang in there Brooks, you’ll be rewarded at the end of the season no doubt.
Sticker goes to the new betting market favorites to win the World Series, the Texas Rangers. Because why not?
TexasTech Football’s Big Week
We will talk about it tonight on the Daily Broadcast around 6:30 but it pretty much boils down to Texas Tech winning at BYU to make a bowl game for this team. That’s where I think we are today.
