Happy Tuesday, y’all!
We’ve got less than a month to Christmas. We’ve got to get things done and things happening here in Raiderland. Got another college scouting trip later this week, so we’ll maximize our time together. If you haven’t been catching our commentary, be sure and check out the Monday 60-Seconds of Raiderland. We’ll have another one today. Appreciate all the feedback as we try and make this a daily deal. No show last nights but we’ll be back live tonight at 6:30 for the Daily Broadcast on X, Facebook and YouTube. Join in however you choose!
Tuesday’s Best
Each Tuesday we give you a topic, you give us your two best examples of said topic. Not hard. Unless you can’t narrow it down to two. Today may be that day.
The season of Christmas Specials/Movies/TV Shows is upon us and I couldn’t be happier. Today we want you to give us the Two Best Christmas Specials All-Time. We’ll play loose with the boundaries on what qualifies as a Christmas Special today. But you only get two.
For starters, I’ll throw out the old Bob Hope Christmas Specials from days gone by. Often imitated, but never duplicated. They should just pick a random year each December and show that episode. Loved it when Texas Tech had a player on the AP All-American team and they got introduced by Hope.
So, which two get your nod on Tuesday’s Best?
Best Thing I Ever Ate
Hat-Tip to Food Network for a great show. We’re always about food in Raiderland. On Tuesday’s we make it official with a Best Thing category.
Today we want you to give us the Best Salsa you’ve ever had? Either at a restaurant or store-bought. No homemade please. We want all of Raiderland to be able to sample it. What makes a great salsa for you? Chips are vital. Chips that pair well with the salsa game-changer. For years I thought the original Josies in Lubbock had strong salsa game. Montelongo’s on the Clovis Highway is greatness as well. Kylito’s elevated the store-bought game over the last twenty years or so.
So, who gets your nod for Best Salsa you’ve ever had?
Raiderland Hot-Links
Dane does it again!
Random Texas Tech Football vs TCU 1973.
Oooh, salsa: Kylito’s Gentle with Julio’s chips….can’t beat it! Just a smidgen of heat that allows the flavors to come forward…
Smidgen
good word.
