Happy Valentine’s Day, y’all!

Not a bad week we got going here. Mahomes win Super Bowl, Texas Tech demolishes Kansas, Texas Tech Baseball starts and we’ve got the Daytona 500 to cap it off Sunday. What more could you give your wife or girlfriend than a week like that? I really don’t think you guys need to do anything else for Valentine’s except reminder of that. That and maybe take her out to The Reserve or Gator’s Bayou or perhaps swing by United Market Street and pick up a ton of flowers. But other than that, I think you’re good.

Speaking of Texas Tech Baseball, our coverage with Diamond Talk – Presented by Thacker Jewelry in Lubbock starts this weekend on Sunday. The Friday game will no doubt run really late. They always do. So, no Day One Broadcast. We’ll wrap-up the full full weekend on Sunday evening, so save the date. Like you guys, and like Tim Tadlock, I can’t wait to see what this team looks like over the first few days. Arms have to be treated like gold, so no real stretching out when it comes to PC and innings, so just be ready for that. This team will be a perfect Tadlock team in that it will sort itself out over the first month or so, roles will de defined and by April we’ll really have a good idea what the post-season version will look like. So to Football Guy, be patient. Patient.

Overrated, Underrated, Rated Right Wednesday

Each Wednesday we give y’all three people, things or them and it’s up to you to tell us if they’re Overrated, Underrated or Rated Right. Post your comments in the section below and we’ll take them up on the Daily Broadcast tonight at 6:30ish. Back to normal time. For those wonder about the early start Tuesday, it was my honor to watch my nephew close out his career at Coronado by dropping 22 on Lubbock High on Senior Night. What a way to go out!

  1. Going out on Valentine’s Day for supper vs waiting for the weekend. . . I have thoughts
  2. College Baseball
  3. Pearl-Snap Shirts

OK, there’s your list for today, get after those ratings. Now, on to some morning Hot-Links. Sounds tasty.
