The real irony of this “playoff era” is that when CFB was regional – it was more balanced but there were no playoffs.
The playoffs have materialized during an era in which regionality has disappeared. And with these mega-conferences the schedules within same conferences vary wildly and are sometimes not even close in similarity. And while we are here, hey SECSECSEC, how ‘bout y’all play 9 games like everybody else.

Isn’t it interesting watching all the skill position players from the “lesser and unworthy” BIG12 tearing it up all over the NFL.?
