Happy Tuesday, Y’all!
Things fell like fall, even though we still got a few weeks of summer left. College football is about to hit the 25% mark this week, Monday Night Football was back and it’s in the upper 50s here in the morning. It smells like fall. Of all the seasons, fall may be my favorite these days. You get a little of everything. Football, post-season baseball, great weather. Bring on fall!
For Texas Tech Football it’s bringing on another opponent that does a similar offensive scheme as to what the Red Raiders do. Crazy. It’s like Mike Leach has some sort of large coaching tree or something.
On Monday, the Joey McGuire Mantra was that it all starts with defense. And he’s right, you got to have a good defense to win. Even Texas Tech fans know that. In fact, Joey, Tech fans may understand that better than any fan-base around…But, it also helps to score more than 16 points in a game. Four losses on the road last year and Tech scored 16 or fewer points. But yes, tell me more about the defense…
