We’ve made it to the weekend. I won’t know what to do tonight. For the first time in seven weeks, no Friday Night Lights for me as the son’s team has the night off. A well-earned break before they start district one last time for him and his senior friends. Hard to believe…
That said, I think I do know what we’ll do tonight. We’ll hang out with y’all and have a rare Friday Night Daily Broadcast around 6:30ish or so. I’ll roll out my Texas Tech vs Houston predictions and will expect you to do the same. So get your mind right and get ready for tonight.
Most Texan Thing
It’s time.
Y’all know what to do on Fridays. You tell us and the world what was The Most Texan Thing that you did over the past week. Sometimes it’s big. Sometimes it’s little. I tried to decipher a strange noise and slithering sound amongst the wood shavings in the chicken coop earlier this week. I didn’t investigate probably as hard as I should have. But whatever it was, left. So, that’s a win in my book. No eggs cracked or missing and chickens were accounted for. By the way, if y’all have chickens, how are they laying for you right now? Ours have been hit and miss this past week. Sometimes 5-7 eggs sometimes just enough for an omelette. Random.
